The Golden Age and her Pirates

Pirates have had a hold on public consciousness for years. Whether your interest is drawn from books like Treasure Island or Peter Pan, movies like the Pirates of the Carribean franchise, shows like Black Sails or video games like Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, it’s safe to say many of us have had some interaction with scoundrels of the sea in some shape or form. This project concerns itself with the pirates that inspired these stories - the pirates of the Golden Age.

This is an ongoing project - more pirates will be written about and more details will be polished over time. Feel free to leave corrections, suggestions and recommendations in the comments!
